Situated in the southern part of the Drôme region, near Grignan,
La Moutière is an imposing XVIII century stone-built country estate,
comprising main house surrounded by its terraced outbuildings.
The estate comprises 4 acres, bordered by a river,
a stream and crossed by a canal with a mill paddle-wheel.
Through its history the property has housed a silk-worm husking industry,
a pottery, a tannery and became a family holiday house in 1964.
After aquisition, a long year of work was required to restore the buildings’ original charm.
Since July 2009, La Moutière has been welcoming guests all year round.
All fully renovated, well equipped and with a private terrace — for 4 to 9 people.
